LORDSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Firefighters were called to the Foxconn plant in Lordstown on Sunday night for a test vehicle that caught on fire.

Lordstown Motors’ Endurance vehicle in storage caught fire at the Foxconn plant.

Lordstown firefighters were called to the scene. There were no injuries reported.

The company plans to investigate the cause of the fire.

Foxconn also released this statement:

“Foxconn is aware of and currently investigating the recent incident that occurred at our Ohio facility. The safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and neighbors is our first priority and we are thankful for the successful efforts of the Lordstown Fire Department.”
