A Warren woman faces soliciting charges after she was arrested by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force on Thursday.
A Task Force agent posing as a “John” began talking to a woman who police said advertised escort services on social media.
During an online chat, the agent arranged to meet the woman for sex and agreed to a fee of $150, according to a police report. Police said she told the officer to bring condoms and meet her at a location in Warren.
After their arrival, police said they arrested 28-year-old Courtney Wilson, who came out of the house and sat in the passenger’s seat of the officer’s car.
Police said the conversation with the officer was on her phone, and Wilson admitted that she planned to have sex for cash.
She’s charged with soliciting and possessing criminal tools.
Wilson pleaded not guilty to the charges in court on Friday, and she’s set to appear in court again on February 12.
