BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – Sweeney Buick GMC is breaking ground on Monday on a new headquarters in Boardman.

The 50,000-square foot showroom and parts facility is expected to be completed by 2020.

The state-of-the-art facility replaces the old service department that sustained heavy storm damage in November of 2017.

“We lost a ton of square footage in this building, so we joined forces with our Chevy dealer across the street. We did service, we’ve been doing service for the last year for all of our customers who’ve been very patient,” said Alexa Sweeney Blackann, vice president of Sweeney Buick GMC.
