Local News

A suspect in a New Castle triple homicide from last month is back in Pennsylvania.

Anthony Cooper, 19, was in court Tuesday. He was arrested in Detroit a few weeks after the murders.

His bail was denied, meaning he’ll stay in jail through court proceedings.

Cooper is expected to be back in court on November 21.

The other two suspects, 19-year-old Steven Procopio and 41-year-old Jody Hammer, will also be held for trial without bond.

On October 16, 31-year-old Nichole Pumphrey, 31-year-old Lawrence Cannon and 10-year-old Amariah Emery were found shot dead in a house on W. North Street.
