Crews from Weathersfield and Lordstown worked to control an out-of-control garage fire Monday that spread to a nearby tanker truck.

Crews responded about 4 a.m. to a house on Brunstetter Road.

When they arrived, the attached garage was fully engulfed and flames had spread to a tanker truck parked outside near the garage.

Three people were evacuated from the house.

No one was hurt.

Brunstetter Road was closed for a couple of hours as crews worked to clear the scene.

The fire is under investigation.
