Charged with aggravated arson in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Three women are facing charges after police say they attacked a couple inside a house on the city’s south side.

According to a police report, officers were called to a house on Brentwood Avenue where a man told officers that his ex-girlfriend, later identified as 20-year-old Keyairra Bulls, came to his house with two other women — Jazlynn Bulls and Amaris Gordon — and forced their way inside.

The man said Bulls was there to get her property but that they had broken up two years ago.

The man said he asked Keyairra Bulls to leave. He said Jazlynn Bulls then went to the garage, got a gas can and said, “I’ll burn your house down,” the report stated.

All three women entered the house and attacked the man’s current girlfriend, who was sitting at the kitchen table, according to the report. Police said the victim was bleeding and suffered several facial wounds. She was taken to St. Elizbeth Hospital for treatment.

The man said all three women attacked him and his girlfriend with lamps, tables and other items. He said Jazlynn Bulls poured gasoline in the house.

Police noted that the room was in “complete disarray” when they got there.

Officers located the suspected vehicle that the women were in at a house on Oregon Avenue, but the women were not there.

Bulls was arrested on Thursday and charged with aggravated burglary and assault. She is scheduled for a pretrial hearing on May 10.

Jazlynn Bulls and Amaris Gordon are also facing the same charges, according to court records.

Editor’s note: A previous version of this story said Keyairra Bulls poured gasoline in the house. Jazlynn Bulls was accused of pouring gasoline. We regret the error, and this story has been corrected.
