BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – A local DJ said he’s doing OK after being hit by a car in Boardman Friday night.

Brian Price was riding his bike on Glenwood Avenue near the Wildwood Drive intersection just before 10:30 p.m. when a car hit him from behind.

Price said he was hit so hard, he landed on the grass on the opposite side of the road.

The driver who hit him didn’t stop.

Another driver witnessed the whole thing and called 911.

“They’re probably scared and didn’t know what was happening but I’m not mad, I’m not angry,” Price said. “I’m just so thankful for all the things that happened right. That Serina happened to be there, that she was a nurse, that she knew what to do, that she called 911 right away, that they were there quickly, that the trauma team was ready for me, that they weren’t so busy that I would have had to wait.”

Price is already back to work.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is still looking for the driver who hit him. They believe the car the suspect was driving is a silver Kia missing its passenger side mirror.

Anyone with information should call Highway Patrol at 330-533-6866.
