NEW CASTLE, Pa. (WKBN) – New Castle police say an explosive device placed under a car detonated early Friday morning.
Police say it caused extensive damage to the car and some nearby houses.
It happened around 1 a.m. in the 300 block of Wallace Avenue.
Police found a vehicle with severe front-end damage. Four houses in the area were also damaged, including 20 windows.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and explosives and the Pennsylvania State Police are aiding in the investigation.
