YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - Police have charged both men involved in a fight that led to the lockdown at Youngstown State University.
Robert Allen and Dennis Hubert are charged with inducing panic.
The school was locked down for nearly two hours after Hubert reported that Allen pulled a gun after a fight at Kilcawley Center.
Nearby, Youngstown Community Health Center, Choffin Career and Technical Center, St. Elizabeth's Hospital and the Main Library were also placed on lockdown.
Investigators said they later found that Hubert lied about the firearm.
Allen, who is not a YSU student, was charged because he came to the university to fight with Hubert, according to police.
Allen turned himself in after the incident, but he wasn't immediately charged.
