YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Reports said a man with a gun got away with cash from the Belmont Avenue Dollar General store Sunday evening, while another gunman stole a purse and wallet while the robbery was in progress.

Witnesses told police that the man was dressed in black with a mask over his face and told a clerk to open the registers.

One of the registers would not open, reports said. The man ran out of the store afterward, reports said.

As that was going on, reports said a couple walked into the store followed by a second gunman, also dressed in black. He forced them to lay on the floor and man’s wallet and woman’s purse was taken, reports said.
