NORTH JACKSON, Ohio (WKBN) – Metal coils fell off of a semi-truck onto an Interstate 80 ramp Wednesday morning.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was called to I-80, just east of the Ohio Turnpike, shortly before 8 a.m.
A few coils ended up near an entrance ramp, and two vehicles hit the coils, causing damage to the tires.
OSHP said there were no injuries reported.
The truck driver will be cited, according to Highway Patrol.
Traffic was maintained during the incident, and no lanes were closed.
