NILES, Ohio (WKBN) – There won’t be a city-wide Fourth of July celebration in Niles this year.
Mayor Steven Mientkiewicz announced Thursday that the Fourth of July parade and Harry Stevens Day are canceled.
The decision comes due to social distancing concerns, Mientkiewicz said.
Niles is one of many communities putting some of the their celebrations on hold. WKBN 27 First News has compiled a list of summer events and cancellations.
