An exhibit at the Tyler History Center to bring lost stories back to life in the Valley.
The exhibit, called “Untold Stories,” depicts the stories of people in the Rust Belt and shows artifacts of the Steel Mills’ in Youngstown.
They focus on the Steel Mills’ impact on the community with a video playing in the background, explaining how people from other states and cities would rush to work in Youngstown.
“It really speaks to our industrial heritage. It shows some great imagery. She’s done some really interesting mixed media prints here in the exhibit. She curated some of our collection as well and brought out some of the steel-related artifacts and documents related to that industry,” said Leann Rich, manager at the Tyler History Center.
The center is open Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
