NEW CASTLE, Pa. (WKBN) – New Castle police have arrested a man wanted in connection with the armed robbery of Last Minute Mart on Wilmington Road.

Kevin Gardner is charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

Police said he’s one of two suspects who robbed the store on April 29 after threatening an employee. The robbers were wearing masks and one had a gun, according to investigators.

The robbers got away with cash, an employee’s cell phone and the store’s phone.

Police identified the other robber as a 16-year-old.

Gardner is being held in the Lawrence County Jail.
