WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Warren police are investigating after multiple homes were hit by gunfire.

According to police reports, officers were called to the area of Adelaide Avenue SE and Grandview Street around 4 p.m. Saturday.

When officers arrived, several people were standing in a yard and they said two people were shooting at a car on Grandview. Several homes were hit by the gunfire.

Officers met with a resident in the 600 block of Kenmore Ave. SE. The man told police his daughters were playing upstairs when he heard a noise. When he went upstairs to check it out, he found a bullet hole in the wall.

He quickly took the kids to the basement. When he went back upstairs, he found a projectile in a hallway closet, just barely missing the kids’ bedroom, the report said.
