WARREN TWP., Ohio (WKBN) — The Warren Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol has identified the man who died in a motorcycle crash with a truck late Wednesday night in Warren Township.

According to a press release by OSHP, Brandon Brink, 30, of Salem died from fatal injuries due to the crash.

Troopers responded to County Route 89 around 10:30 p.m.

Troopers said Brink was traveling on Highland Avenue when the truck was attempting to turn left to go south Highland Avenue after it pulled out of a private driveway on the east side of the road. Brink struck the truck, according to the report.

Brink was taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital where he died from his injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured.

OSHP said that Brink was not wearing a motorcycle helmet.

Warren Township Police Department and the Warren Township Fire Department assisted at the scene of the crash. Highland Avenue was closed in the area where the crash happened but has since reopened.

The crash is under investigation.
