PINE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WKBN) – A motorcyclist was injured after a crash involving a truck in Mercer County Friday morning.

It happened around 7:57 a.m. at the intersection of Cranberry Road and George Jr. Road in Pine Township, near Grove City.

According to state troopers, the motorcyclist was traveling northwest on Cranberry Road when the truck driver failed to stop at the stop sign on George Jr. Road.

Troopers said the truck pulled in front of the motorcycle on Cranberry Road, causing the motorcycle to hit the truck.

The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet, but troopers said she was taken to Grove City Medical Center for injuries.

The truck driver was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. The driver was charged with failing to stop at a stop sign and failing to yield.
