A Youngstown woman faces a felonious assault charge after a fight involving a knife on Sunday night.
Around 8:30 p.m., officers were called to the 900 block of W. Laclede Avenue, where they found a group of people fighting in the driveway and into the street.
Police said a victim and two witnesses told investigators that 38-year-old Cheree Moore brought a group of people to confront them. When one man tried to break up the fight, he said Moore cut him with a knife.
Police said the man had two deep cuts on his back.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Moore was arrested and the scene and was taken to the Mahoning County Jail.
