Man shot in foot at bar on Youngstown’s west side

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A man from Youngstown is recovering after reportedly getting shot in the foot at a bar on the west side.

According to a police report, officers went to St. Elizabeth Health Center on Tuesday after a  22-year-old man showed up with a gunshot wound.

The man told police he was at Fyrst Lounge on Steel Street around 2:15 a.m. when he heard gunshots.

Another witness said she heard gunshots, too, and “everyone was ducking and taking cover,” according to a police report.

Later, the man discovered he was shot in the foot so friends took him to the hospital, police said.

A Cadillac owned by the bar owner was also shot up, according to the report. The car was riddled with bullet holes and there was broken glass.
