Man accused of Howland robbery, Warren bar shooting indicted on 17 counts

(WKBN) – The man accused of a bar shooting and armed robbery has been indicted by a Trumbull County Grand Jury.

Ryan Rulong, 27, is now charged with 17 counts: eight counts of attempted murder, eight counts of felonious assault and one count of aggravated robbery.

Rulong is accused of shooting at least five shots at the University at Larchmont bar back on May 10.

There were patrons both out on the patio and inside the bar at the time. Three of them were injured.

Rulong was arrested four days after the shooting.

Howland police took him into custody during an investigation into an armed robbery at the TrueNorth gas station on E. Market Street.

He remains in jail and is set to be arraigned in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Friday morning.
