MAHONING CO., Ohio (WKBN) – A report released Monday outlines the finances of Mahoning County’s 14 public school systems.

Mahoning County Auditor Ralph Meacham released the report. Since 60% of all property taxes support public schools, Meacham said, “Taxpayers are entitled to know how school districts compare. Enrollment is declining. School boards will continue to be challenged to balance revenues and expenses.”

Meacham’s report includes total budgets, salaries for faculty and administration and revenue from each student.
