(WKBN) – The superintendent of Springfield Local Schools has been honored.

Tom Yazvac was selected as a recipient of the 2023 State Leadership Award through the National Association of Federal Education Program Administrators.

The award honors educators and their dedication to serving federal education programs and children.

He is one of two Ohioans to receive the honor.
