Local Jewish federation holding food drive to benefit Second Harvest

The Youngstown Area Jewish Federation plans to have a Passover food drive to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank.

The food drive is being put on by the Jewish Federation’s Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC).

Every $1 donated can help provide five meals to local families. Donations can be mailed to the JCRC office at 505 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown, OH 44504.

Food donations can be dropped off at the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown, Akiva Academy, Temple El Emeth, Congregation Rodef Sholom or Congregation Ohev Tzedek.

The food drive runs from April 1-18.
