YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Dozens of people gathered at the Congregation Rodef Sholom temple Friday night for an event hosted by local Jewish leaders in response to the recent shooting at a California synagogue.

Three local congregations united for a night of prayer and solidarity.

The attack at Chabad of Poway injured three people and killed a 60-year-old woman who stepped in front of a rabbi to protect him.

A lot of the speakers said Friday night’s message, above all, was about healing.
