HERMITAGE, Pa. (WKBN) – The city of Hermitage Fire Department is adding a new training tool to continue improving their service to the community.
On Thursday, members voted in favor of purchasing a burn prop. They already have started getting ready and have broken ground.
The prop will help train with live fire, ladders, searches under smoke conditions and much more.
The department hopes to have the project finished by the fall.
