YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The OH WOW! Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology hosted its annual prototype exhibit on Thursday.
Engineering students from Youngstown State University built devices that could be used at the museum one day. Elementary students got to try them out.
St. Christine Teacher Kristen Chahine said it’s an important part of the learning process.
“To further enhance the education of students, have them think out of the box and not always just use what is in school at the time, and using only paper and pencil to learn,” she said.
Dozens of prototype exhibits were tested out throughout the day.
