YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Hundreds of people are without power in the Valley after a wind storm last week caused power line issues.
As of 2:30 p.m. Thursday, around 300 customers are without power in the local Ohio counties.
According to FirstEnergy, 143 customers are without power in Trumbull County, 98 are without power in Mahoning County, and 36 customers in Columbiana County have lost power.
Most power is expected to be completely restored completely at around 11 p.m. Thursday. FirstEnergy’s outage map has changed the estimated power restoration time to 11 p.m. Friday in some areas in Mahoning and Trumbull counties.
As of 6:15 a.m., there are less than 100 people without power in Mercer County. Most power is also expected to be restored in these areas around 11 p.m. Thursday.
