CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – Investigators are looking for a Howland Township teen that went missing last month.
Anita Torres, 14, is 5’1″ and 120 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
According to officials, Torres was last seen at the Canfield Fair on Aug. 30 and was reported missing by her guardians.
Police said Torres’ foster mother went to pick her up from the fair around 9:30 p.m., but the teen wouldn’t get in the car and started swearing at her.
The foster mother said Torres is “street smart” but they had been having behavior issues with her, according to police.
Officers said the foster mother thinks Torres could be with her biological parents in Cleveland, though when the foster mother contacted them, they said they hadn’t seen her.
Torres was placed with her foster family in December of last year.
