A raid in Girard netted drugs and cash, along with other items.

Officers were conducting a drug trafficking investigation when they raided a house Thursday in the 1100 block of Washington Avenue.

Agents recovered 31 grams of crack cocaine, 28 grams of suspected heroin, suspected cocaine, 83 Xanax pills, scales and over $2,000 in cash.

Two vehicles were also seized.

A gun, which is connected to the case, was seized prior to the raid during a traffic stop. Police say that gun was reported stolen out of Pennsylvania.

Charges are pending in the case and the names of the suspects are being withheld pending analysis of the seized items by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

The Trumbull Ashtabula Group Law Enforcement Task Force, The Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Girard Police Department and DEA Youngstown worked together on the drug raid.
