Low to moderate income individuals and families as well as seniors can qualify.
The United Way also teamed up with other organizations to help you file your taxes for free.
The program is called Tax Preparation Assistance and each year it’s held at Youngstown State University. Each volunteer at the program is trained and certified by the IRS to do taxes.
The program does take walks ups from now until April at the Williamson College of Business building on YSU’s campus.
You can find a list of locations and information on how to sign up on the United Way’s website.
