WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Warren Family Mission is continuing to do its part to help out less fortunate families in the area.

Friday morning, the Mission began its weekly free and fresh produce distribution at its pantry on West Market Street.

This is a drive-thru pick-up where families are able to receive all kinds of produce.

The mission says the food is needed for some families as inflation takes a toll on the communities.

“It’s just vital and necessary to host these giveaways, especially when our communities are battling gas prices and utility costs,” said Dominic Marrari, PR director for the Warren Family Mission.

The Mission is partnering with Second Harvest Foodbank on the distribution, which will be held every Friday starting at 9:30 a.m., and will continue while supplies last.
