A former Mahoning County judge who found herself on the wrong side of the bench will now be sentenced this summer after pleading guilty Monday afternoon in federal court.
Diane Vettori had been charged with mail fraud, making structured bank payments and lying to federal investigators.
Prosecutors say Vettori took tens of thousands of dollars from the estates of two deceased clients and then deposited the money into her own bank accounts.
She was suspended from the bench by the Supreme Court.
She will be sentenced in June.
