Former Highway Patrol trooper sworn in as Hubbard’s new safety director

HUBBARD, Ohio (WKBN) – The city of Hubbard has a new safety director.

Bill Bancroft was sworn in on Monday night.

He spent 29 years as a trooper with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, retiring in 2017.

Bancroft lives in Hubbard with his wife and two daughters.

He replaces Nicholas Modarelli, who recently resigned.
