SHARON, Pa. (WKBN) – A vacant house in Sharon is a total loss after a fire late Wednesday afternoon.

Crews from three departments went to the fire on Lafayette Avenue around 5:30 p.m.

A man was inside, fixing up the hundred-year-old home when the fire started.

Investigators think an electrical problem started it.

Most of the damage was on the third floor.

At one time, the house was condemned.
