Feds indict Struthers man accused of having 33 pounds of cocaine

A man from Struthers is facing felony drug charges after investigators say he was in possession of 33 pounds of cocaine he intended to sell. 

According to the indictment, troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol stopped Frank Martinez, Jr. on March 7 for an illegal lane change on 71 in Medina County. 

A drug-sniffing dog alerted troopers to his pickup truck where they found 33 pounds of cocaine hidden in a compartment screwed into the bed of the truck.

Martinez is charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine.
