EAST PALESTINE, Ohio (WKBN) — There is a change of plans for one of Norfolk Southern’s projects in East Palestine.

The mulch replacement project at the East Palestine Elementary School playground was slated to be done by Monday. However, according to Norfolk Sourthern’s website, the project is now expected to be completed by March 13.

Norfolk Southern had contracted a local landscaper to replace that mulch.
