Early voting in Ohio begins

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKBN) – Citizens in Ohio can start early voting in the state on Tuesday.

Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose wants to remind voters that they have 28 days to head to the polls. Tuesday also marks the first day of absentee voting in-person and by mail. 

In-person absentee voting can be done at the following times:

April 9 – April 26 (Monday through Friday), from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

April 29 – May 3 (Monday through Friday), from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

May 4, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

May 5, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

May 6, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
