FARRELL, Pa. (WKBN) — A Farrell man is due back in court later this month after his arrest Thursday.

Daniel George Jr. is facing drug trafficking and weapons charges.

The Mercer County Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) conducted the raid of a home in the 300 block of Shenango Blvd.

Investigators said they found cocaine, crack, marijuana, $5,000 and a gun inside the home. A criminal complaint also states that there were several plastic bags and a digital scale, indicating to investigators that the drugs may have been being packaged for sale.

George previously pleaded guilty to charges of unlawful restraint in 2010 and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in 2016, prohibiting him from accessing any firearms.

According to a criminal complaint, a woman and a newborn baby were in the house at the time of the search.
