Downtown Circle, Youngstown business of deported man, sold to new owner

Local News

Downtown Circle and Circle Hookah and Bar in Youngstown have been sold. The new owner will take over right away.

When we called the business, they confirmed there was a new owner named “Mike.” They would not give us any more information. It hasn’t gone through on the auditor’s website.

The convenience store and hookah lounge were previously owned by Al Adi, who was deported to Jordan in January.

Adi’s case sparked protests in the Valley by his family and community members who believed Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s actions were unjust.

At the time, Adi’s daughter took over the business when he left.

The new owner is keeping the name the same for now.
