Double county car chase ends in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A police chase that started in Hermitage ended on Youngstown’s south side Friday night.

Several Youngstown police cruisers along with a Weathersfield Township officer stopped a vehicle along the South Avenue overpass over Interstate 680.

The vehicle was believed to have been involved in a chase that started when the suspect hit a Hermitage police cruiser.

That chase went through Trumbull County.

Witnesses say two people were being put into cruisers, but we do not know if they were charged.
