SHENANGO TWP., Pa. (WKBN) – Last week in Shenango Township, 47 dogs were found living in terrible conditions. Today, the animals have a better future. Three of them have already found new homes.

The rest are still in the process of being groomed at Sham-pooch in Greenville and visiting the veterinarians for general care. They were also treated with the necessary shots.

Debra Householder, the owner of Sham-pooch, said the dogs are doing better.

“They’re doing relatively good. They are fearful, a lot of them. Some of them have become more friendly but for the most part, they are mostly just fearful. None of them seem to be mean, they are just afraid.”

The Humane Society of Mercer County said 12 other people have filled out adoption applications
for the pups.

If you are interested in adopting, you can reach out on the Humane Society’s Facebook page
or give them a call at 724-981-5445.

Linda Pascutazz, the former owner, is facing over 100 charges in the case.
