YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Youngstown City Council learned Monday that a project to renovate the former Dorian Book Store at the corner of Elm Street and Madison Avenue is dead.

At its last meeting, council asked for more time to consider a float loan to a company looking to turn the building into a market and apartments. Since then, the developer has backed out of the deal.
