YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Demolition is underway near Youngstown State University’s campus for more student housing.
In March, a private development bought the property at the corner of Wick and East Rayen avenues.
In June, they will start to build a 200-bed apartment complex.
It will be ready for students for the fall semester in 2020.
YSU says the rooms are needed thanks to a steady increase in its full-time enrollment.
