BEAVER, Twp. Ohio (WKBN) – Crews worked to contain a fire at a house in Beaver Township.

Multiple departments were called to the house in the 2900 block of Western Reserve Road.

Beaver Township Fire Chief Larry Sauerwein says they believe the fire started in a first floor bedroom.

Ronald Bilas, the owner of the home, said the home was being rented out. He says a woman and three young children were inside the home at the time of the fire, but all three made it out safely. 

Bilas says the home may be a total loss. 

Canfield, Green Township ,and Springfield all assisted on the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
