YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN)- A dog has died after a house fire in Youngstown Monday morning.

Crews were called to Bears Den Road in Youngstown just before 4 a.m.

The captain of Youngstown Fire Department said that he thinks it was mostly smoke damage that started in the basement.

Firefighters are still investigating. This is a developing story.
