WARREN TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – Investigators with the State Fire Marshal’s Office are looking into how a fire started Monday morning in Warren Township.
Shortly after midnight, the Warren Township Fire Department was notified of a vehicle fire next to a house in the 1700 block of Bellcrest Ave. SW.
Fire Chief Joe Natali said the fire spread into the garage and attic space of the nearby home.
Natali says the main structure was saved but did sustain water and smoke damage.
No one was living in the home at the time.
The fire was under control within 30 minutes from the time of the call.
Neighboring fire departments Champion, Newton Falls and Lordstown assisted.
