NEW CASTLE, Pa. (WKBN) – Investigators in New Castle will be trying to figure out what caused a massive fire Friday morning.
It happened at a vacant house on West Madison Avenue around 5 a.m. Flames were still pouring from the windows an hour later.
At one point, the front of the home collapsed.
People living next door got out safely.
“I woke up. I heard crackling like a window breaking. I’m like, ‘What is going on so early?’ so I look outside my window and the whole side of the house is on fire, and then all of a sudden, it was just like every window. So I got my stuff… Got my son out of the house and we moved out of the way,” said Kylee Houk, a neighbor.
Firefighters say no one was hurt.
