YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A crash in Youngstown brought down power lines, closing all four lanes of Mahoning Avenue for several hours.
As of 10:30 p.m., Mahoning Avenue was still closed between Johnson and Edwards streets.
The crash happened around 2:15 p.m. in front of Bud’s Signs and Star Supply.
It appears as if two vehicles were involved and one of the vehicles hit a pole, breaking it and pulling down power lines.
Those involved in the crash did not appear to be seriously injured.
Ohio Edison was called to the scene to make repairs.
Youngstown police were on the scene, directing traffic around the area.
