Coroner’s Office identifies man found dead in Youngstown home

The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office has identified the man found dead in a vacant house in Youngstown on March 27.

Investigators were able to identify the victim as 29-year-old Marquesse Shine due to his fingerprints. 

Police found Shine’s body inside a house in the 700 block of Willow Street and reported that it appeared as if he had been there for some time. 

Police were investigating his death as a homicide. 

The Coroner’s Office hasn’t released a ruling on the cause of death but completed an autopsy.
