Community hits the streets for live music and games at annual Federal Frenzy

Local News

The fifth annual Federal Frenzy took over the streets in downtown Youngstown on Saturday.

There was a larger focus this year on family-friendly activities at the event. Attendees had the chance to browse from a variety of vendors and also enjoy oversized family games, art installations and other demonstrations.

Organizers say it’s intended to keep the party going all day and all night.

“We have a dance organization doing some little dance lessons, so you can come back outside and not look like you’re ridiculous. We have food trucks, vendors selling handmade eclectic crafts,” said organizer Megan Crees.

At night, the music cranks up and the party moves on to more adult activities.
